The Current Finance Roadmap is Version 2.0

Charter
The Finance Road Map serves as a plan and schedule for activity conducted by
the OMG's Finance Domain Task Force (Finance DTF). It identifies categories
of activity and specific work items within those categories; lists expected
work item deliverables; and provides a schedule for work items. It also
records the history of Finance DTF activity.
Note that the Roadmap is the consensus perception of the Finance DTF members. The Finance DTF does not have a plan or roadmap seperate from its membership. Consequently, the roadmap changes as the profile of active members and their interests change. Though a suggested schedule exists to guide the group and for information to perspective members, work items are undertaken when one or more members are interested in doing so.
The Finance Roadmap is a "living" Document: Updates will be applied after every meeting in which the roadmap is addressed.. No votes will be required to approve unless a specific issue arises that requires it. This will improve the timliness and accuracy of our Roadmap

The focus of the Finance Domain Task Force for the Montreal meeting, at the end of August 2004, will be to evaluate responses to the Electronic Payments Interoperability RFI and use the information to form a Roadmap of candidate standards. At least one will be selected to begin execution at the Washington, DC meeting in November 2004.
Road Map Discussions
The Finance DTF has issued the Electronic Payments Interoperability RFI. Road Map activity in August will be based on the responses to the RFI, and the discussions surrounding them.

The Roadmap as of 15-May-2004 was not an OMG document, was not versioned,
and was a web table. It was abstracted during the web site reorganization
and labeled "Version 2.0"
